Lie to Me Spoiler: Is Ben Reynolds dead or alive for season premiere?

This one I´m still on the fence about…

This spoiler of Lie to Me is somehow something I´m not liking very much. Ben Reynolds is dying on Lie To Me!

I already posted about Lightman Group cutting FBI contract , hence meaning Mekhi Phifer is leaving Lie to Me.

Wether it´s a bad move, or a good move we´ll know it next season of Lie To Me. Spoiler is solid.

What I would like to see happening is that Detective Ben Reynolds lives, giving it room for a comeback later on if they need to reinstate the FBI Contract with Lightman Group.

But, having Det Ben Reynolds dead, and as a consecuence of a FBI rogue investigation, makes it much more likely to make Cal Lightman call it quits with them. We´ll have to wait a bit to confirm if Ben Reynolds is dead or alive on Lie To Me, but it´s not looking good.

What do you think about this Lie to Me Spoiler? Is Ben Reynolds dead and out of Lightman Group a good move? Is Mekhi Phifer´s character dying on Lie to Me a loss too big? Is Ben Reynolds dying on Lie To Me an interesting creative move?

l'ho vista in netto ritardo la puntata, mi ha lasciato con una vaga sensazione di ....non saprei nemmeno dirvi cosa...
Molto dinamica all'inizio,la morta della giornalista,le indagini di cal che si incaponisce al punto di perdere un'importante fonte di sicuro guadagno....la storia mi sembra un po ripetitiva...minkia un politico americano che va a puttane non è certo uno spoiler,avrebbero certo potuto trovare qualche altro scheletro,ma non si può chiedere molto a sti scrittori. Il rapporto callian,mi fa impazzire,sembrano una famiglia ormai collaudata in certi momenti e freddi e distaccati in altri. Che poi chieda aiuto a lei per la persa verginità della figlia lo trovo al tempo stesso carino ma stupido.

e per la puntata non si può dire che fosse una delle più belle del tf e non trovo nessuna differenza tra questa ed altre anche se è una season finale
diciamo che crdevo che da come era partito l'episodio co fosse più azione e dramma ma alla fine ...

LIE TO ME, the No. 1 broadcast drama of the summer, will now have its third season premiere Monday, Oct. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In the premiere episode, “In The Red,” LIGHTMAN (Tim Roth) goes to great lengths to prevent a man fueled by revenge (guest star Shawn Doyle, “Big Love”) from robbing a bank. In the process, Lightman sets to right a wrong by holding a guilty man accountable for his actions.

The upcoming season of LIE TO ME sees the relationships and dynamics of The Lightman Group tested as a wedge is driven between Lightman and FOSTER (Kelli Williams), creating devastating consequences. Now that the Group has split from the FBI, Lightman is free to operate on the margins of the law. Meanwhile, with Lightman under pressure from his publisher to finish his book, a group of university students have been enlisted to help him focus on this project he’d rather ignore than complete.

LIE TO ME was the highest-rated broadcast drama of the summer among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key male demos. The series, inspired by a real-life specialist who can read clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose the truth and lies in criminal investigations, stars Tim Roth, Kelli Williams, Monica Raymund, Brendan Hines and Hayley McFarland.

Fox Network Cancels Lone Star After Two Episodes

After just two outings Fox Network has cancelled Lone Star, bringing Lie to Me back on the air beginning next Monday night (following House, M.D.) to premiere its third season.
Twitter is abuzz with the news, and it's an interesting development since of all the networks, Fox (ironically somehow) has been the network to let good, but underperforming, shows build an audience.
True, the show didn't do well, even with the power-House lead in. But Monday night is a pretty tough night on which to compete for viewers. Was the decision simply number-crunching or was a show featuring a bigamist hero (and a conman at that) too "out there" for the network?
I have only one question for Fox: why not flip-flop Lie to Me and House? House would play much better (and make much more sense) in the network's 9:00 ET slot, especially now that House is involved in a very adult relationship with boss Lisa Cuddy. So waddya say, Fox Execs? Who here agrees with me?

The First Canceled Show of the Season: ‘Lone Star’

The verdict is in and we have the first flop of the fall 2009-2010 season: ‘Lone Star.’

It’s official: Fox has canceled the struggling series due to low ratings after two airings, the network confirmed Tuesday.

Despite its disappointing debut, the con man drama’s failure has somewhat blindsided TV peeps, since the well-reviewed show was pegged by many critics as one to watch this fall.

But in its second outing Monday night, ‘Lone Star’ was a-lone in last place again: it dropped another 7% to 3.78 million viewers, after pulling a dismal 1.3 rating in the key adult demo for the premiere. (Guess the creator’s begging for viewers kind of backfired, huh?).

New episodes of the Tim Roth series ‘Lie to Me’ will air in its place at 9 p.m., beginning next Monday with the Season 3 premiere.

Fox is known for being swift with the axe, but this one seems particularly abrupt, considering the praise and save-the-show campaigns that popped up for the ‘Dallas’-style series, which starred newcomer James Wolk and veteran actor Jon Voight. Airing in the highly competitive Mondays-at-9 time slot definitely hurt, so it’s surprising the network didn’t try to give the show a shot on another night before pulling it entirely.

Looks like you can mess with Texas after all.
